Residing in Jersey City, Dana Gambale is a mixed-media artist skilled in sculpture, painting, and drawing – among various other crafts. Calling upon attributes from each, she unifies them to best suit each piece. Inspiration reigns from pop culture to what some might consider unusual. The backbone of her pieces are often humor and irony.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Brooklyn College, where she was introduced to 3D design. 3D design is most often the form she works in today. Incorporating sound and lights into some of her artwork to make it an experience for multiple senses. She finds the challenge of using new materials, both exciting and fulfilling.
